The challenge

Buying a home without a walkthrough

Euca's homes are manufactured: built complete in the factory and delivered to site, with larger designs built as two sections and joined on site. That means buyers commit before there is anything to walk through, and buying an eco-cabin or small home without a physical walkthrough is hard:

• Spatial understanding. It is difficult to grasp the layout and how the space will be used.
• Design visualisation. Interior finishes, colour schemes and external styling are hard to imagine.
• Customisation clarity. Customers had limited ability to personalise features and see the changes as they made them.

Euca needed customers to design and visualise their home remotely, with confidence, reducing hesitation and shortening the path to a decision.

What we built

Build + Price, powered by Plattar

Euca's Build + Price tool is a 3D configurator where customers explore, design and personalise their future home from a web browser. From floor plans and cladding to decks, solar, cabinetry and colour schemes, they mix, match and modify every detail in a real-time 3D view of the whole home, inside and out, and every change updates live with connected pricing.

• Drag-and-drop configuration of floor plans, cladding, utilities and more.
• Real-time 3D of the interior and exterior, in photoreal detail.
• WebAR to place the customised home in the customer's own backyard, from a phone or desktop.
• Automated variant generation, so no design option has to be built by hand.
• API connections to pricing, quotes and CRM.
• Euca's own brand, inside its existing Build + Price experience.
