The challenge

Specification was slow, and hard to picture

Commercial furniture comes in a huge number of variants, from colours and fabrics to dimensions and finishes. That complexity got in the way of customers and of Accent's own sales team:

• Product clarity. Customers struggled to picture how a piece would look and fit in their space.
• Configuration. Designers and buyers needed detailed, custom specifications, but could not explore the options online.
• Sales efficiency. Quoting was manual, built from static images and product sheets, which slowed every decision.

Accent needed one visual, scalable way to simplify configuration, make its products easier to understand and take the friction out of the path to purchase.

What we built

Plattar built Accent an end-to-end configurator that serves its customers and the team behind them:

• Real-time 3D configurator. Customers choose finishes, materials and components and watch the product update instantly.
• Photoreal 3D content. Every product modelled in high fidelity, down to textures, seams and proportions.
• WebAR preview. The configured furniture placed in the customer's actual workspace, from a phone or desktop.
• Instant quoting. Connected to Accent's pricing tools and quote generation, so a configuration becomes an order.
• Modular setup. Accent's own team adds new products and variants quickly.
• Accent's brand. The experience matches Accent's website and what its clients expect.
