The challenge
Getting it right the first time
For SKOPE's customers, what matters is not only how a unit performs but how it merchandises their products. Whether it is a quick stop at a convenience store or a long dinner at a restaurant, choosing refrigeration and food service equipment is a considerable investment that customers want to get right the first time.
Finding the right display fridge online is hard. People struggle to understand how a unit will look in their business and how their goods will be displayed, and much of the range is customisable, which makes it difficult to show in a showroom.
B2B marketing was changing quickly, and SKOPE saw the moment to let its sales representatives show the entire range remotely, with every fridge's size, colour and specification configured, compared and chosen in 3D and AR.
What we built
From CAD to every door, colour and orientation
Plattar started by mapping what SKOPE's products have in common, structuring the variations across door and colour options for an efficient production process, then built the base models from SKOPE's CAD files. Each base model carries 3D animations of product features and maintenance processes, and realistic models were produced for every door option, colour and left or right orientation.
On SKOPE's website, customers can now:
- View in 3D, from every angle rather than a handful of images.
- Read annotations the SKOPE team created in Plattar's CMS, explaining how each product works and the benefit of each feature.
- View in AR, from each product page, to see how the unit fits and feels in their own business.

The result
B2B marketing, brought to life
SKOPE now shows the innovation in its products in 3D and AR, on every product page and in every sales conversation.
“SKOPE understands that the visual presentation of products plays a crucial role in attracting customers and selling our product. With 3D and webAR, our customers can now showcase SKOPE products in a visually appealing and interactive way. This technology allows for realistic representations of our refrigeration and food service products, enabling end users to envision how they would look and function in their own establishments. By integrating the Plattar 3D & AR product experience platform into our digital channels, SKOPE has elevated its business-to-business marketing approach.”
