Built in sections or modules in a factory to the same building codes as a site-built home, then delivered and assembled on a permanent foundation. Kit homes, multi-module plans, multiple storeys and different roof pitches give buyers a lot to configure.
Built complete in the factory and shipped into place, as a single section or as two or more sections joined on site. Called transportable homes in some markets, and in the US built to their own national code (the HUD Code). Buyers choose from a range of models and need to see the finished home before it is built.
Buyers are starting to ask AI assistants to shortlist homes. Plattar publishes your models, floor plans and options in a form those assistants can read and act on, through WebMCP and structured product data, from day one. It works alongside the website you already have.

Euca and Seventy Squares both build manufactured homes, completed in the factory and delivered to site, with their larger split designs built as two sections and joined on site.
